COURSE PROCEDURE FOR MATH LAB

Students will be graded on:

Daily Assignments=70%

Tests=30%

Valdez High School grading scale will be used:

100-90=A

89-80=B

79-70=C

69-60=D

59-0=F

Basic work requirements:

Use of various texts as consumer math books, basic skills, and pre-algebra and algebra books. Any lesson that is below 70% will need to be corrected in order to advance to the next lesson/concept.

Make up work is based on each studentÕs ability level. However, if a student misses too many days (at the teacherÕs discretion), two-days per each day missed will be given to the student. If the student does not complete and turn in the assignments at the designated times, ÒzerosÓ will be given.
