1. Specifically
indicate how students will be graded.
A.
Students will earn points on a daily basis in any of the following areas:
Positive Participation/ Vocal production = 90%
Assignments=5%
Appropriate
Concert Attire/Manners = 5%
B.
20 participation points a week will be available for students to earn. Any
student receiving 14
or more a week will be considered passing. A students receiving less than 14 pts.
per week will be considered failing.
C.
The Grading Scale will be as follows: 100%-90% = A
89%-80% = B
79%-70% =
C
69%-60% =
D
2. Specifically
indicate how make-up work will be executed.
1.
Make-up work in a group participation activity is not possible, so good
attendance and participation
will comprise the major portion of the grade. Make up TIME is possible but only
if the absence was excused.
1.Journaling
for the make up work is all that is excepted. 10 songs /day. Students will list the song, title and why they liked or disliked the
tune. Listen to a variety of
songs. Tell about our
interests in music as you journal.

is possible but only if the absence was excused.
3. Specifically
indicate how extra credit work will be considered
1.
Extra Credit will only be given out to those students who inquire about it.
Assignments may
vary from, written reports to oral presentation, listening to a variety of
songs and answering
questions.
4. Specifically
indicate the basic work requirements (i.e. - workbook, outside reading, book
reports, papers, etc.).
