Students will be graded as follows:

1. Homework (bookwork, lab investigations, quizzes) will be assigned a percentage value.

2. Chapter tests will be given a percentage value.

3. The quarter grades will be 50% from homework and 50% from tests.

4. The semester percentage will be determined taking 45% from each quarter and 10% from the semester test.

5. A letter grade will be assigned as follows:

100%-90%=A

89%-80%=B

79%-70%=C

69%-60%=D

Below 60%=F

MAKEUP WORK

1. Premakeup work is due the day the student returns to class.

2. Makeup will be allowed, 2 days for each day missed, with a maximum of two weeks delay.

Work requirements will include the use of text, lab book, lab equipment, computers, and science resources found in the library and classroom.

Office hours are 7:50-8:10 A.M. and 3:07-3:20 P.M. Prep period is period 3, 9:59- 10:47.
