á Specifically indicate how students will be graded.

1. Students will be graded on daily assignments, journals, tests, and writing assignments. The semester test will count as 10% of the semester grade.

á Specifically indicate how make-up work will be executed.

1. Students will be allowed one school day to make up work for every one day of excused absence.

2. Students are responsible for obtaining assignments missed during excused absences.

á Specifically indicate how extra credit work will be considered.

1. Extra credit work will be considered when all required work is completed on time.

2. Extra credit may include book reports and/or extra writing assignments.

á Specifically indicate the basic work requirements.

1. One book report per semester on a book read outside of class.

2. Selected readings from Literature and Language.

3. To Kill a Mockingbird.

4. Writing assignments in a variety of styles.

5. Group and individual projects.

á Specifically indicate your office hours and where you will be located during these hours.
