If you have read the trilogy Uglies, Pretties, Specials – or would like to, bring your lunch tomorrow to Mrs. Huisingh’s room, JH18. We will discuss the books and where we can get our hands on more copies.

 

RED RIBBON WEEK

Stop by Mrs. Pressley’s office (JH 15) to answer the drug fact question of the day - lunch time only - and win a prize!!

 

Question Quest, a game similar to Jeopardy, will be played next week, October 30^th - November 3rd. $10 Subway gift certificates will be awarded daily, and a weekly winner will be announced on November 3^rd. Come by and try your chance!!

Inhalants are the third most abused substances among 12-14 year-olds in the US, after alcohol and tobacco.

THC (found in marijuana) damages nerve cells in the part of the brain where memories are formed, making it harder to remember things.
