Door Decoration Contest:

You will be competing against all other MARS groups. Your task will be to design a door that reflects the idea of TEAM and RED RIBBON WEEK. The supplies will be given to you to use. You may not use supplies that have not been given to you in the kit unless specified below.

Items you may use that is not provided:

·Tape ·A magazine brought from home

·Staples ·Glue

·Scissors

The items that you must use (that means you must use all of them) are the following:

·Butcher paper ·3 sheets of writing paper

One white ·Red finger paint

One purple ·Words

One green Team

·2 sheets of colored paper Drugs

Blue ·6 paper clips

Green ·3 rubber bands

Red ·Four crayons

Yellow ·Roll of toilet paper

Orange ·5 Popsicle sticks

·Red ribbon

There will be six full days of MARS to create an idea that goes with the theme “team” and to construct it. The doors will be judged on the 16^th of October. The judges will be looking at these key components when judging:

Creativity

How well your decoration portrayed the theme of “team”

How well you used ALL the materials

The prize for the door decoration will be announced during the first day of the competition.
