"After the Bell Program"

What is the ATB?

We are trying to create more opportunities for your son and daughters to be active this fall. We have expanded our “Gilson After the Bell Program.”

We are offering supervised activities Monday – Thursday 3:15-4:30 p.m. We hope to be offering Math Tutoring, Open Computer Lab, Board Games, Open Gym, and Art and Crafts.

These programs serve several important purposes, including:
* recreation and socialization in a safe environment
* providing opportunities to interact with pro-social peers
* occupying free time with supervision and positive choices
* adult supervision and the opportunity to interact positively with adults

This is an excellent opportunity for your sons and daughters to be actively involved in a positive and supervised activity. This program is sponsored by Drug Free Schools, Federal Grants and the United Way. All activities will take place at Gilson Jr. High School:

JH Computer Lab: Open from 3:15-4:15 Mon-Thur

For all grades 7 & 8

Supervisor: Mr. Huston

Tutoring - Room #17Open from 3:15-4:15 Mon-Thur

Snacks provided, for all grades 7-8.

Open Gym and Game Room in the Gym Open from 3:15-4:30 - Tuesday - Thursday
