Sports: At Gilson JH we currently offer Boy's & Girl's Basketball, Cheerleading, Wrestling, and Girl's Volleyball. Sports physicals must be performed by a physician, physician assistant, or advanced nurse practitioner prior to try-outs. Forms are available at the junior and senior high offices. Many medical offices also have a copy of the Alaska School Activities Association form. This form is required to be on file in our office before a student participates in athletic activities, including try-outs for those activities.
