Mrs. Beck's Rules

1. No food or drink in the lab

2. Enter and exit the room properly

3. Wait for directions with no talking

4. Eyes front and hands still when Mrs. Beck is talking

5. Leave your area neat and clean

6. Treat each other and the equipment respectfully
 
Consequences for Breaking the Rules

1. Verbal warning from the teacher

2. Sit at the “Stop Desk” and write down which rule you have broken. The student will be asked to sit at the “Stop Desk” until the end of the period.

3. The third time that the student has been asked to go to the “Stop Desk”, parents will be called.

4. Students with severe behavior issues in the lab will be immediately sent to the principal’s office. They must meet with Mrs. Beck to discuss the behavior before they may return to the computer lab.
 

Rewards for Good Behavior

1. Classes with good behavior will earn “points” by posting a rabbit on the record chart. The classes with the highest number of rabbits at the end of the quarter from the primary and upper elementary will earn a free half hour period in the lab with Mrs. Beck.

2. Students and classes as a whole will receive verbal praise for a job well done.
