Classroom Rules

1. Do your work at all times.
2. Respect others
3. Don’t talk back to the teacher
4. Do what you are told to do
5. Inside Voices
(Students devised these rules. They will sign the classroom constitution stating that they understand the rules and will abide by them.)

Negative Consequences

First time a student breaks a rule: Verbal Warning
Second Time: Second Warning (Pull a yellow card on the behavior stoplight and stay in for 5-15 minutes of recess)
Third Time: (Pull an orange card on the behavior stoplight and fill out a Time-Out form stating reason for time-out and plan for improvement) This form will be taken home and brought back signed by parent.
Fourth Time: (Pull a red card on the behavior stoplight and student calls home to speak with parents.) Possible conference with parents and/or principal.
Severe Clause: Sent to principal


Positive Consequences

1. Knowing you had a good day and proud of your achievements.
2. Bonus Bucks-daily/weekly.
3. Verbal Praise.
4. Positive Notes and phone calls home.
5. Special Privileges.
6. Individual and Class Awards
