Instructions for Configuring 2nd Quarter Grade Files

Configuring your 2nd Quarter grade files is simple. Basically, you will copy catagory data from the 1st Quarter and determine the first assignment number of the 2nd Quarter.

1. Open the grade file (Basic Applications).

2. Determine the first assignment number of the 2nd Quarter (in this case, 50).

3. To copy grading categories from 1st Quarter to 2nd Quarter . . .
Select Class on the menu bar and scroll down to Categories.
Click and hold in the Categories For: popup box and scroll down to 2nd Qtr. Final.
Click on the button labeled "Copy From Previous Grading Period".

4. To enter the first assignment number of the 2nd Quarter. . .
Select Class on the menu bar and scroll down to Grading Periods.
Enter the first assignment for the 2nd Quarter in the Starting Assignment: text box.

5. Save your class and start entering assignments and grades for the 2nd Quarter.
