COURSE PROCEDURES AND PRACTICES

This is a dual credit Tech Prep course and students are required to register at both Valdez High School and Prince William Sound Community College.  At PWSCC, students have the options of registering for college credit or audit.

  Daily Assignments 50% Tests 50%	1st Quarter 40% 2nd Quarter 40% Semester Test 20%

• Specifically indicate how make-up work will be executed.
  
  1. Students will be allowed one school day to make up work for every one day of excused absence.
  2. Students are responsible for obtaining assignments missed during excused absences.
  3. Students must complete premakeup assignments and all assignments for the week prior to the planned activity.
     
• Specifically indicate how extra credit work will be considered.
  
  1. Extra credit work will be considered when all required work is completed.
  2. Extra credit work may include additional document processing and/or class presentations.
     
• Specifically indicate the basic work requirements (i.e. - workbook, outside reading, book reports, papers, etc.).
  
  1. All computer-generated assignments will be completed in the assigned lab. No outside keyboarding will be accepted.
  2. All assignments must be handed in on time. No late work will be accepted.
  3. All paper-generated assignments must be completed with pencil or black ink.
  4. Internet usage is required for this class.
  5. Students will be required to bring to class outside materials related to current technology.
