 Course Description:

This course is tailored to educational uses of Microsoft Word.  MS Word for Education explores practical word processing applications encountered by teachers.  Students will learn advanced features of MS Word to maximize their productivity and to manage student data.

 Student Learning Outcomes:

Students will use problem solving skills and acquired MS Word knowledge to determine the best formats and layouts for educational documents.  Format considerations include font, paragraph and documents settings.  Page layout considerations include tables, column text, graphic elements, and hypermedia.  Students will demonstrate usage of the MS Word menu bar, ruler, and button bars.
